About Heather
Heather Dawn has been teaching group fitness and private instruction in the wellness field for over 25 years, with a focus on creating experiences that connect the body, mind, and breath.
She is the founder of Bodymuse, a wellness practice offering yoga, sound healing, and coaching with the intention of helping individuals become their own muse.
Heather has taught yoga at Equinox Fitness for over 20 years, where she also developed and launched a successful sound bath program during the pandemic.
The Creation of Z Bounce
Z Bounce Fitness was created in 2025 after Heather experienced a high-intensity rebounding class that sparked inspiration.
While she loved the energy and format, she felt there was an opportunity to bring more intention, balance, and connection into the experience.
Z Bounce, short for Zen Bounce was born as a method that blends play, movement, and mindfulness into one cohesive practice.
A Workout That Feels Like Play
Z Bounce was designed to bring a sense of freedom and enjoyment back into fitness much like the feeling of dance.
Rooted in Heather’s background in yoga and mind-body practices, the method integrates breath, body awareness, and a thoughtfully designed workout arc that supports both physical strength and nervous system regulation.
It’s not just about exertion it’s about learning how to return to balance.
To move, recover, and build resilience without getting stuck in extremes.

The Inspiration Behind It All
Heather holds certifications across multiple fitness modalities, including Pilates, spin, personal training, and more.
While she values all forms of movement, rebounding stood out.
It offered something different a sense of lightness, joy, and freedom.
It reminded her of her early years growing up in New York City, where she trained in modern and hip-hop dance, and of the playful energy of jumping on trampolines as a child.
Z Bounce was created to bring that feeling back into adult movement.
